New Job
I got a job yesterday. I am pretty excited. I will be working as a full time nail tech at the Wingate Salon and Spa. You can see how cool this place is at their website www.wingatespa.com . I start next Monday. I am mostly excited because I will finally meet people and get friends. Which shouldn't be to hard there are over 40 women working at the spa. Alex said he is not to excited about me having that many women friends. To bad for him! hehe.
Dr Apts
Warning this is alot of personal info about me so if you don't want to know, don't read.
So I have found and amazing fertility Dr here. He actually has been named as one of "The Best Doctors in America" in three national consumer publications annually since 1994. I have had a lot of blood draw and have found out more in the month and a half that I have seen him then all of the other doctors that I have seen over that last two and a half yrs. I had been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) when we were in Atlanta. This explains alot of issues I have had for years (up to fours months between cycles, acne, stomach issues and trouble losing weight). We have since found out I also have Hypothyroidism. They have put me on medicine to bring my levels down. On Jan 29th I had 10 viles of blood drawn, on the 31st I had a Sono HSG performed (which showed I do NOT have to have surgery on my uterus). I did have more blood work done this morning along with a ultrasound. So on Thursday morning Alex and I will go in and have a consultation with Dr. Hill to put a plan together. We are also extremely lucky that Alexs company has great health insurance. So what ever plan is put together we will have great coverage. I will update again after the doctors visit.

Update
Ok, ok... I know I am horrible at updating this thing. Not sure if anyone even checks it anymore but it is now going to be a record for me of the recipes that we like. This may also help out those hundreds of people that check my blog daily..hehehe.
So here is a brief update of what we have been up to since......November 2011.. ok this may not be brief since I haven't posted in forever:
I started school for a nail tech in Sept 2011 and graduated in June 2012.
Alex went to Corpus Christi, TX on a 3 month cover for his job. I was able to go visit him once in April. He came home the 1st week of May.
My mom was able to come visit us the end of June. Unfortunately it turned out that when she was here was when we had to move out of the apartment and put our stuff in storage. It was a blessing for me though because I don't know if I would have been able to get it wall done if she didn't come! I did find out she has some interesting packing strategies (don't let her near your rolled oats..hehehe). Also when she was here it was the hottest it had been since we had been there so it was so uncomfortable to just step outside. So I didn't get to show here hardly any sights, we did get to go to some of my favorite restaurants!
Well, we have now moved to Portsmouth, NH. WE LOVE IT!!!! It is so beautiful here! The town we live in is a complete tourist town. We live less then 2 miles from the coast. We came here the 1st of July for Alex's job that we were not sure if it was going to be permanent or not. We lived in an extended stay hotel for 3 months. I enjoyed it for about 2 weeks then I could have sworn the walls were starting to close in on us. It did defiantly did have its perks and disadvantages. Perks: Housekeeper whenever I wanted, didn't have to pay rent, utilities, internet or for TV (Alex's company put us up), They cooked dinner for us Mon-Thur, breakfast every morning and a shuttle that took us or picked us up anywhere within 3 miles. Disadvantages: Doing laundry in coin-op three flights up, 1 bedroom with 2 pets, Alex and all of his work supplies that took up more room then the 4 of us combined, NO STOVE, upstairs neighbors and hauling groceries through a hotel.
Well the end of Sept Alex flew back to Atlanta to interview for the position on a permanent basis. Well before he even got off the plane coming back they had called at told him he had the job. That was a huge relief until they told us that we had 1 week to move out of the hotel. Well we did pretty good but we did have to end up paying for ourselves for 4 nights. We found a great 2 bedroom condo in Portsmouth. We flew back to Atlanta to get all of our stuff that we left in storage. Alex drove the U haul back and I drove my car that I also left in Atlanta. The day after we got back here Alexs parents came and helped us move in. It was so great to have them here to help. We took them to Portland, around to see the leaves, and all the great restaurants we have found here!
Oh yeah, we did fly home in July to go to Alexs family reunion. I stayed a week longer so I could see my family. It was great because I was actually able to see Shelly and her ADORABLE little boys. I only got to see them for a few hours but it was still nice to see them.
So in December I flew into Vegas to go and spend 10 DAYS with Shelly and her family. I loved it!!! I miss her little ones so much! I was able to just relax with her family it was so nice. On the 15th I flew to Salt Lake and Alex flew in from Boston. My parents picked us up and we were able to spend about a week with them. Then we went to the Hess family Christmas party then on to Pocatello for Christmas then Mt. Home and Boise. We flew back into Boston on the 28th. Unfortunately, we were not able to see my brother Jeremy on this trip.
We are now just getting back into settling down and getting back into a routine. I will add more posts to update you on specific events... Sorry not so brief!

Thankful and Going Home!!!!!
So it is getting closer to when we will be coming back to Idaho & Utah! I am getting so excited!!!! I have missed my family so much it is crazy. Living so close you take them for granted. Being able to see family for special occasion or just because, was something that I truly miss. I have missed so many special events because I have been so far away. I am so grateful for this opportunity that Alex and I have been given, but it has definantly been a struggle not seeing those that are so important to us. I am so thankful for the age we are in now that I can call anyone whenever I what. That has helped a lot, but no amount of phone calls will ever be able to replace actually seeing family and friend and being able to give hugs and sit down with them. I miss you all so much!!! I am so excited to see you all soon! This is a much needed vacation! Love y'all!!!! See y'all soon!!!!!!!

A Dream
Some dream of big houses
Or shiny new cars,
Ours is to someday
Hold a baby that's ours.
Some dream of more money
To hoard and to keep,
Mine is to someday
Rock my baby to sleep.
Some dream of careers
In buildings so tall,
His is to someday
Kick his kid a football.
Some dream of great power
To be strong and tough,
Ours is to someday
Have a child to love.
Some dream of things
Such as silver and gold
Ours is of the day
Our child we'll hold.
Or shiny new cars,
Ours is to someday
Hold a baby that's ours.
Some dream of more money
To hoard and to keep,
Mine is to someday
Rock my baby to sleep.
Some dream of careers
In buildings so tall,
His is to someday
Kick his kid a football.
Some dream of great power
To be strong and tough,
Ours is to someday
Have a child to love.
Some dream of things
Such as silver and gold
Ours is of the day
Our child we'll hold.

Blue October Concert
So back in May on the 19th we went to a Blue October concert. They are my favorite band. We were able to go to one of their concerts when we lived in Idaho. They actually came to Idaho Falls. So when I found out they were going to be here (Atlanta) I was so excited. That is one thing that has been awesome about being here is that there a lot of opportunities to go to things that you would never get in Idaho. They are actually coming back here for their new album in October. I am still trying to convince Alex that we need to go. While we have been here we have also gone to one of Alexs favorite bands, A Perfect Circle. They were the band that we went to Vegas to see last November. Anyways here are some of the videos I took at the concert. It was general admission and we actually got AMAZING seats. We were in the 4th row.

4th of July
So for the 4th of July we went to a Braves game. Afterwards there was a firework show. We were able to get some great seats that put us right behind home plate but up on the top level. So during most of the game we could see fireworks that were going off throughout the city. It started raining pretty heavy after the fireworks and we had to walk quite a ways to the car. We were SOAKED by the time we got there. But we had fun!!!
