Ok i will try to keep this short.
November 2010 we finally decided it was time to start trying for a child. By Febuary 2012 I was finally able to get an appt with the OBGYN that I wanted to see. By then we had been trying for a few months and nothing. I have always had problems not being regular and my doctor new that that would be a problem for us to get pregnant. She did blood work and gave me a fertility drug called clomid because she was pretty sure I have what is called PCOS. Well, then Alex got his job and had had to in Georgia before it was time to try with the meds. So Alex had to be in Georgia for his new job by Feb 28th 2011. I was not able to join him until April 1st. It took us a while to find a new doctor in Georgia. We finally did and we started back up on the clomid for 3 months. After 3 months they suggest that you don't stay on it any longer because if you stay on it to long it can increase your chance to get cancer. So I went off that. We did a lot more test and blood work. Confirmed that I do have PCOS, my tubes are not blocked and Alex is not the problem. By this time it was November 2011 and we were heading home for the holidays so once again everything was put on hold until we got back. We got back to Georgia in Dec and it seemed like Alex was never home or I wasn't home (due to me starting school in Sept). We spent one month just just trying to see each other. Then January hit. He was gone to California for almost 2 weeks for a sales meeting then he went straight to Florida for a conference. So I really didn't see him in January. Then in Febuary 2012 they sent him on a cover to Texas for 3 months. He wasn't back until the 2nd week in May. So we had about 4 weeks together during this time I was trying to get all my school finished. They then decided to send him on another cover to New Hampshire in June 2012. This time I was able to go with him since school was finished. We didn't know if we were going to stay here or go back to Georgia so we didn't want to start more test and doc visits until we knew. So in Oct it was finally official we would stay. We found a Doc pretty quick and started doing a lot more tests. Then it was Holiday season again and this time I was gone for a month. So in Jan we started up the tests again and found out that I also have a under active thyroid. So after a lot of blood work, ultrasounds and more tests on Alex we finally put together a plan to start the long process of IVF in Febuary 2013.
The story of the IVF journey will be posted once we have completed the journey.

9 Years!
Today marks our 9 year anniversary. Wow does time go by fast. It has been through quite an adventure these past few years. But wow has it been fun. I don't think we have ever been able to actually celebrate our anniversary but for 2 of the years. This year is no different but I love him all the same.

New Job
I got a job yesterday. I am pretty excited. I will be working as a full time nail tech at the Wingate Salon and Spa. You can see how cool this place is at their website www.wingatespa.com . I start next Monday. I am mostly excited because I will finally meet people and get friends. Which shouldn't be to hard there are over 40 women working at the spa. Alex said he is not to excited about me having that many women friends. To bad for him! hehe.
Dr Apts
Warning this is alot of personal info about me so if you don't want to know, don't read.
So I have found and amazing fertility Dr here. He actually has been named as one of "The Best Doctors in America" in three national consumer publications annually since 1994. I have had a lot of blood draw and have found out more in the month and a half that I have seen him then all of the other doctors that I have seen over that last two and a half yrs. I had been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) when we were in Atlanta. This explains alot of issues I have had for years (up to fours months between cycles, acne, stomach issues and trouble losing weight). We have since found out I also have Hypothyroidism. They have put me on medicine to bring my levels down. On Jan 29th I had 10 viles of blood drawn, on the 31st I had a Sono HSG performed (which showed I do NOT have to have surgery on my uterus). I did have more blood work done this morning along with a ultrasound. So on Thursday morning Alex and I will go in and have a consultation with Dr. Hill to put a plan together. We are also extremely lucky that Alexs company has great health insurance. So what ever plan is put together we will have great coverage. I will update again after the doctors visit.

Update
Ok, ok... I know I am horrible at updating this thing. Not sure if anyone even checks it anymore but it is now going to be a record for me of the recipes that we like. This may also help out those hundreds of people that check my blog daily..hehehe.
So here is a brief update of what we have been up to since......November 2011.. ok this may not be brief since I haven't posted in forever:
I started school for a nail tech in Sept 2011 and graduated in June 2012.
Alex went to Corpus Christi, TX on a 3 month cover for his job. I was able to go visit him once in April. He came home the 1st week of May.
My mom was able to come visit us the end of June. Unfortunately it turned out that when she was here was when we had to move out of the apartment and put our stuff in storage. It was a blessing for me though because I don't know if I would have been able to get it wall done if she didn't come! I did find out she has some interesting packing strategies (don't let her near your rolled oats..hehehe). Also when she was here it was the hottest it had been since we had been there so it was so uncomfortable to just step outside. So I didn't get to show here hardly any sights, we did get to go to some of my favorite restaurants!
Well, we have now moved to Portsmouth, NH. WE LOVE IT!!!! It is so beautiful here! The town we live in is a complete tourist town. We live less then 2 miles from the coast. We came here the 1st of July for Alex's job that we were not sure if it was going to be permanent or not. We lived in an extended stay hotel for 3 months. I enjoyed it for about 2 weeks then I could have sworn the walls were starting to close in on us. It did defiantly did have its perks and disadvantages. Perks: Housekeeper whenever I wanted, didn't have to pay rent, utilities, internet or for TV (Alex's company put us up), They cooked dinner for us Mon-Thur, breakfast every morning and a shuttle that took us or picked us up anywhere within 3 miles. Disadvantages: Doing laundry in coin-op three flights up, 1 bedroom with 2 pets, Alex and all of his work supplies that took up more room then the 4 of us combined, NO STOVE, upstairs neighbors and hauling groceries through a hotel.
Well the end of Sept Alex flew back to Atlanta to interview for the position on a permanent basis. Well before he even got off the plane coming back they had called at told him he had the job. That was a huge relief until they told us that we had 1 week to move out of the hotel. Well we did pretty good but we did have to end up paying for ourselves for 4 nights. We found a great 2 bedroom condo in Portsmouth. We flew back to Atlanta to get all of our stuff that we left in storage. Alex drove the U haul back and I drove my car that I also left in Atlanta. The day after we got back here Alexs parents came and helped us move in. It was so great to have them here to help. We took them to Portland, around to see the leaves, and all the great restaurants we have found here!
Oh yeah, we did fly home in July to go to Alexs family reunion. I stayed a week longer so I could see my family. It was great because I was actually able to see Shelly and her ADORABLE little boys. I only got to see them for a few hours but it was still nice to see them.
So in December I flew into Vegas to go and spend 10 DAYS with Shelly and her family. I loved it!!! I miss her little ones so much! I was able to just relax with her family it was so nice. On the 15th I flew to Salt Lake and Alex flew in from Boston. My parents picked us up and we were able to spend about a week with them. Then we went to the Hess family Christmas party then on to Pocatello for Christmas then Mt. Home and Boise. We flew back into Boston on the 28th. Unfortunately, we were not able to see my brother Jeremy on this trip.
We are now just getting back into settling down and getting back into a routine. I will add more posts to update you on specific events... Sorry not so brief!

Thankful and Going Home!!!!!
So it is getting closer to when we will be coming back to Idaho & Utah! I am getting so excited!!!! I have missed my family so much it is crazy. Living so close you take them for granted. Being able to see family for special occasion or just because, was something that I truly miss. I have missed so many special events because I have been so far away. I am so grateful for this opportunity that Alex and I have been given, but it has definantly been a struggle not seeing those that are so important to us. I am so thankful for the age we are in now that I can call anyone whenever I what. That has helped a lot, but no amount of phone calls will ever be able to replace actually seeing family and friend and being able to give hugs and sit down with them. I miss you all so much!!! I am so excited to see you all soon! This is a much needed vacation! Love y'all!!!! See y'all soon!!!!!!!

A Dream
Some dream of big houses
Or shiny new cars,
Ours is to someday
Hold a baby that's ours.
Some dream of more money
To hoard and to keep,
Mine is to someday
Rock my baby to sleep.
Some dream of careers
In buildings so tall,
His is to someday
Kick his kid a football.
Some dream of great power
To be strong and tough,
Ours is to someday
Have a child to love.
Some dream of things
Such as silver and gold
Ours is of the day
Our child we'll hold.
Or shiny new cars,
Ours is to someday
Hold a baby that's ours.
Some dream of more money
To hoard and to keep,
Mine is to someday
Rock my baby to sleep.
Some dream of careers
In buildings so tall,

Blue October Concert
So back in May on the 19th we went to a Blue October concert. They are my favorite band. We were able to go to one of their concerts when we lived in Idaho. They actually came to Idaho Falls. So when I found out they were going to be here (Atlanta) I was so excited. That is one thing that has been awesome about being here is that there a lot of opportunities to go to things that you would never get in Idaho. They are actually coming back here for their new album in October. I am still trying to convince Alex that we need to go. While we have been here we have also gone to one of Alexs favorite bands, A Perfect Circle. They were the band that we went to Vegas to see last November. Anyways here are some of the videos I took at the concert. It was general admission and we actually got AMAZING seats. We were in the 4th row.

4th of July
So for the 4th of July we went to a Braves game. Afterwards there was a firework show. We were able to get some great seats that put us right behind home plate but up on the top level. So during most of the game we could see fireworks that were going off throughout the city. It started raining pretty heavy after the fireworks and we had to walk quite a ways to the car. We were SOAKED by the time we got there. But we had fun!!!

Georgia Adventure!!!
So it has been a long time since I have posted again. We now live in Suwanee Georgia. Crazy huh! It still hasn't clicked how far away we live. We live in Georgia, that is very weird to say. The only time I realize how far away we are is when I start thinking of family and friends!!! That is when I get really homesick. This place is gorgeous though. It has been a fun adventure so far. We have gone to a couple Braves games at Turner field. We went to a Hawks basketball game. I have rode my first subway. I have seen my first lighting bug. That was really cool. We have found so many good restaurants.
I am now working at a pest control company. I am the receptionist. I enter in all the contracts, invoices and payment. I schedule services for our 4 techs. It is interesting. Also not too stressful. Alex is now working for Merial. It is the came company that Chuck (Cameos husband) works for. So we should be here in Georgia for about 1 1/2 years. After that time who knows where we will end up. Alex is a inside sales rep. He calls vet clinics and sells Merial products to them.
So for those of you wondering when we are coming home for a visit(I don't think anyone reads this since I never post). We are planning a trip home for Thanksgiving. I am pretty sure that Alex won't be able to stay long since he will probably be on a cover. I on the other hand, am hoping I can figure out a way to stay for like 3 weeks. I have a lot of people to visit, and I think I need that long to see them all. I will have to go to Holbrook, Pocatello, St. George, Mountain Home and Boise. Well I hope I can make it to St. George. Shelly you may have to come to Holbrook to see me. But I will try to make it there! You know one thing I have not thought about is how I will be getting around. I may have to rent a car for 3 weeks. Also what to do with my pets, wow I have a lot to plan before I come.
Anyways, I love you all. I MISS you all. hope everything is going good for you. I will try and post more now that I have a job that has a computer...... Until next time.....Love ya!

Wow another year.
So it has been a long time since I have been on and updated info and let you all know what is going on. I am sure most of you have given up on checking my site. So I guess I am updating this just for the heck of it.
So quite a bit has changed this past year. Not necessarily in our personal life but a lot has changed in our friends lives. Well now thinking about it a lot has changed. Alex has finally graduated from college. He now has a bachelors degree in Economics. I have no clue what he is going to do with it, but wow he is smart. He will find something. I changed jobs last February. I really like the new company I am working for. I get to see my Sister in law pretty much every day. It is really nice.
Molly and Link are doing good. If you don't already know they are our cats. We got a dog over the Christmas holiday. We stole her from Wayne and Cheryle. She is so cute. So I have officially broken my own rule. We now have more pets then people in our house. At least it was a dog and not another cat. I really do not want to be know as the crazy cat couple.
So now we are on the job hunt for Alex. I am not quite sure where we will be going or what he will be doing. Right now we are willing to go anywhere. We are ready for another adventure in this new year. Hope all of you are doing good. Love you all!!!

What a Monday!!
So it has been a Monday from you know where. First of all we were awoken by a jackhammer tearing up our sidewalk. The bad part is that it was just early enough that when they were finally done we didn't have any time to go back to sleep. So what a morning I was in a horrible mood going to work. Well I get to work to find out we have a huge leak in our sprinkler system in one of our complexes and I get to call my supervisor to tell her that we are going to have to pay $1300 to fix a sprinkler system we just fixed 2 months ago. So I then come home for lunch to find out that they just dug a HUGE 5 foot deep hole IN my yard. It was a 3 ft by 4 ft hole. No notice at all. Well the city workers knew they were going to be digging into my yard for over a week but they neglected to tell me! I do feel bad though for the guy at the city offices that I finally got a hold of. Oh he got a ear full. So now we have a huge dirt patch in the front of our yard. To top of the rest of the day I had to go to the dentist for a cavity. I hope everyone else had a Great Monday!!!!
Yes this is the nice hole big hole they dug in my yard and didn't tell me about!

Summer Time -Good!
So now for the good part of summer. I can now do yard work. Last year I planted a couple vines along the inside of the fence. Well when it got to be fall I thought I had killed them but this spring -WOW they took off. I mean they are not really tall yet but they are doing great. I am now in love with flowering vines. That really put me in the mood to do yard work. So yesterday I went an bought 4 new vines, 2 lilac bushes and the treasure that I found at Lowe's was gooseberry bushes. So since Mom was there I had her help me plant them. I remember mom and Uncle Myrle had gooseberry bushes growing up. I LOVED them. So yes I am so excited for them to start producing the berries. So that is what I was up to yesterday!! Look Shelly I already have two Blogs...aren't you proud!
Summer Time- Bad!
The bad part of Summer this year. Well there is always the obvious the horrible heat. I know I can't complain to loudly because I don't live in St. George but it is still hot. The problem besides the hot weather now is that the city has decided to completely redo our street. Now that sounds good but they are COMPLETELY redoing EVERYTHING. Last week they were redoing the sewer lines. Well last Thursday they ran into problems so they were right outside (I mean right outside our house) until 1AM sawing, digging and sucking up the sewer out of this huge hole in our front yard. So all last week we couldn't even park by our house we had to park all the way up the street. Well this week they are redoing the water lines. The great part is that they will randomly shut off our water and not tell us. When it eventually gets done it should be good though. The road will now be wide enough for you to park on the side and have to cars drive down it at the same time. I will keep you updated on the progress of the project. I don't know what is going on with the dates on the pictures they are all screwed up.
This is the huge hole right where we park the truck.
The view outside our front gate the first day.
This is the out side our front gate again the next day.
This is the view going down the street.

This is the view going down the street.
